Description

After studying zoology, marine biology, and marine biogeochemistry and climate change in Vienna, Marseille, the Dutch Oceanographic Institute, and the Free University of Brussels, he worked for environmental NGOs, a Member of the European Parliament, and the European Seaports Organisation before joining the Commission. Since 2012, he has been negotiating agriculture for the EU at UNFCCC climate talks.
